MISSION STATEMENT

At BWB The Collective, we believe connection is at the heart of wellbeing. In a world that often feels busy and disconnected, we create welcoming spaces where women can slow down, breathe, and feel part of something.

Whether you're looking to prioritise your wellbeing, meet like-minded women, navigate a new chapter of life, or simply enjoy an hour away from the demands of work and family, you'll find a place here.

Through therapeutic movement, sound healing, and community-led experiences, we support women to reconnect with themselves and each other. For some, that's healing. For others, it's building confidence, friendships, or simply finding space to recharge.

We're here to create a community where every woman feels seen, supported, and welcome.

Before BWB The Collective, I battled my eating disorder in isolation, consumed by guilt and self-loathing. The women’s circles and support here helped me release shame and start to embrace my true self. Through workshops, body positivity practices, and meditation, I’m learning to rewrite my story. The journey isn’t over, but I now have a community that celebrates progress, not perfection

we honestly didn’t expect the response to our fibromyalgia programme the way it’s unfolded 🤍⁠

week after week we’ve watched women walk into the room feeling isolated, exhausted and disconnected from their bodies…⁠
and slowly start laughing again, moving again, opening up again.⁠
⁠
for some women, this has been the first group they’ve felt safe enough to attend in years.⁠
⁠
there’s been something incredibly powerful about seeing women realise they’re not lazy, dramatic or “just overreacting.”⁠
they’re carrying a lot in bodies that need more softness and support.⁠
⁠
right now all funded spaces are full and we sadly don’t currently have funding for another free cohort but because so many women have asked to continue, we’re now looking at opening an ongoing gentle paid group so the support doesn’t just stop after 8 weeks.⁠

this kitchen has had more personalities than most people 😅

at one point it was dust, tools and a collection of half-finished jobs.

now it’s coffee brewing, conversations happening and people gathering around the table.

it’s funny how a room can go from looking completely forgotten to becoming one of the busiest parts of the building.

watching it come to life has been pretty special 🤍

please please check in with yourselves ladies, if something feels off get yourself checked! if something on your body changes, go get it seen. your life is precious, and we need to prioritise ourselves, if mine wasn’t on my face id have never gone to the doc as it wasn’t a mole or something I’d ever have suspected.

walking into a cold, derelict building yet having the strongest gut feeling that this space could become so incredibly magical!

everyone else thought I was mad, and warned me against it (I’m so glad I didn’t listen 😆)

i saw somewhere to hopefully feel safe, a space that was raw and full of emotion, that it turn could hopefully allow others to recharge their cups.

i poured my heart, soul, savings and more hours than i’d like to admit into breathing life into this building, so that it could hopefully be something more for others.

so seeing it filled with people now?

i don’t think i’ll ever stop being grateful for that 🫶🏽

every paid class booked here does so much more than people realise

the yoga classes, sound baths, workshops, pilates, women showing up on a friday night instead of staying home scrolling…
that’s the stuff keeping this whole space alive.

because while we’re incredibly grateful for funding support, most grants only cover the direct delivery of a programme, like the teacher who’s running the session.

they don’t cover the rent, heating, electric, insurance, equipment, cleaning or the day-to-day running of a huge old building 😅

so the paid classes?
they’re the reason this space can stay open.

they allow us to continue creating free and subsidised support for women who otherwise wouldn’t have access to it.

this place exists because people choose to book, support, share and believe in what we’re building here 🫶🏼

so if you’ve been meaning to come to a class, this is your sign.

not everything changes through huge gestures.
sometimes it’s just a body in a room helping keep the lights on for someone else too.
