Being human can be overwhelming

The Space Between offers low-cost therapy for women who feel they would benefit from a more personal, therapeutic space alongside community support.

It’s a calm, confidential space to explore what you’re carrying, at your own pace, with no pressure to be or feel any particular way.

We believe access to support shouldn’t be limited by cost, which is why we offer a number of reduced-fee sessions where possible.

Your Preferred Therapist,
Your Decision

Finding support isn’t just about the right practitioner—it’s about feeling comfortable enough to show up.

The Space Between brings together a small group of trusted professionals, including therapists, counsellors, and body-based practitioners such as acupuncturists and sports massage therapists.

We offer a blend of talking therapies and physical, body-led support, because different kinds of support work for different people at different times. Sometimes talking helps, and sometimes the body needs attention too.

Access to therapy is still too often shaped by cost and availability, meaning support can be delayed or out of reach for many people.

At The Space Between, we’re building a different approach through community support rather than reliance on large funding or sponsorship.

We invite local businesses, professionals, and individuals to contribute to a shared fund that helps provide reduced-fee therapy sessions for women who would otherwise struggle to access support.

Each year, we also work alongside organisations supporting people in everyday life challenges, helping to create more consistent and accessible pathways to care—rooted in dignity, respect, and real-world need.

Choosing a therapist can feel like a lot.

If you’d rather not overthink it, we can help match you with someone suitable

No one-size-fits-all

No two people experience things in the same way, so support here is flexible and responsive to you.

Some sessions are practical and goal-focused.
Some are more emotional and reflective.
Some are quiet and grounding.
Some are simply a space to talk things through for the first time.

We work at your pace, with what feels relevant for you in the moment.
