FREE Teen Girls Aerial Hoop Ages 14–16
Strong bodies, confident voices and safer choices.
Service Description
A free 8-week programme for girls aged 14-16, mixing beginner-friendly low aerial hoop with real-life confidence, boundaries and safety skills. Each week we’ll use hoop, movement and relaxed discussion to help girls feel stronger in their bodies, trust their own voice and feel more confident recognising when something doesn’t feel right. We want parents and carers to know exactly what we’ll be talking about. Across the 8 weeks we’ll explore: * confidence and body awareness * boundaries, consent and saying no * healthy friendships and relationships * peer pressure and trusting your instincts * online safety, group chats and social media * pressure around photos and image sharing * recognising controlling or manipulative behaviour * staying calmer under pressure and knowing who to ask for help The conversations are age-appropriate, relaxed and scenario-based. Girls will never be asked to share personal experiences or talk about anything they don’t want to. The hoop side is low to the ground and completely beginner-friendly. We’ll use it to build strength and confidence, but also to practise things like asking for help, changing your mind, saying no and stopping without apologising. Healthy snacks are provided each week and every girl will receive a practical goodie bag with things like a personal safety alarm, notebook, grounding item, safe-people card and simple phone-safety prompts. This isn’t counselling or therapy. It’s a supportive, preventative programme giving girls practical skills they can take into everyday life. We’ll also be running a separate 11–13 programme, with the same foundations but conversations and topics shaped appropriately for older teens. No aerial experience needed. All equipment is provided. 💛

Funded Programme Attendance Policy Your place is fully funded and spaces are limited, so please only book if you can commit to attending all eight sessions. We know life happens if you can’t make a session, just let us know beforehand. Two no-shows without letting us know will mean your place is released to another woman waiting to join. You’ll also complete two quick tick-box questionnaires, one at the start and one at the end, to help us show our funders the difference these programmes make and keep more free support coming. 💛
